And a stencil and photo combined! Based on Little Red Riding Hood. On the first attempt I forgot to take the negative out although I think it could look quite good if I worked on it a bit more. Not quite got the technique for this sussed yet…
Photogram stencil based on The Story of Little Suck a Thumb from Der Struwwelpeter. The story is a cautionary tale about a little boy who is warned not to suck his thumbs otherwise they will be cut off. He doesn’t listen and ends up getting his thumbs cut off! I want to turn this into a series so it tells the story more clearly, this was just a test.
Haven’t posted in ages so I do apologise! This term we had to write our own brief so I chose to look at constructing images and telling narratives. I am focussing on fairytales and alternative methods used in the darkroom. This is a straight forward black and white print from one of my shoots based on the locations surrounding fairytales.
